Import Trades From Any Broker Into Tradapt
Build a professional trading journal from the brokers and platforms you already use. Tradapt ingests CSV exports from major US and global brokers, MetaTrader, futures platforms, prop firm dashboards, and leading crypto exchanges — then turns fills into analytics, habits insights, and accountability workflows. Compare plans anytime on pricing to see AI credits, storage, and plan features.
How broker import works
Every guide in this directory follows the same practical flow: export an activity or trade report from your broker, keep the file in a common format like CSV, then upload it to Tradapt. The importer looks for timestamps, symbols, side, quantity, and price fields so your trades become structured rows you can filter, tag, and review. If you trade multiple accounts — for example a personal futures account and a prop evaluation — use separate Tradapt accounts so statistics stay comparable and your daily loss rules line up with the right balance.
After import, Tradapt connects trades to journaling fields such as setup type, emotion, screenshots, and playbook checklists. That combination is what separates a spreadsheet from a journal you will actually use after losing streaks and during reviews.
Asset classes covered on this hub
Use the filters below to browse equities and options brokers, futures commission merchants and platform providers, forex and CFD brokers, global crypto exchanges, and prop firms that route through Rithmic, Tradovate, or MetaTrader. Each page lists the instruments the broker is known for and walks through the export clicks that produce a file Tradapt can read.
If you cross asset classes — for example stocks and crypto — import separate files per venue or account so contract specifications and fee structures stay accurate in analytics.
Don't see your broker yet?
Markets move faster than documentation, and we add new export paths as customers request them. Start with manual entries while you test a sample CSV, or email support with a redacted file so we can confirm compatibility. Many "generic" statement exports still contain the core columns Tradapt needs.
If you are evaluating Tradapt for a team, mention the platforms your traders rely on — we prioritise guides that unblock the widest groups first.

Frequently asked questions
How does Tradapt import trades from my broker?
Most users export a trade history or activity file from their broker as CSV (sometimes Excel that you save as CSV). You upload that file in Tradapt and the importer maps columns to trades automatically. Read-only broker API auto-sync is coming soon on Essential and Pro — same rollout as on the pricing page — so use CSV import today.
Do I need a paid plan to import broker CSV files?
No. CSV import works on the free plan so you can journal and analyse performance before upgrading. Broker API auto-sync is coming soon on paid plans; until then, CSV is the supported path for every broker here.
Which asset classes can I journal after import?
Tradapt is built for stocks, options, futures, forex and CFDs, crypto spot and derivatives, and prop-firm style futures accounts. Your broker export defines what fills are available; Tradapt turns those fills into analytics like win rate, profit factor, drawdown, and setup tagging.
What is the difference between CSV import and API sync?
CSV import is a snapshot you download from your broker or platform whenever you choose — fully supported today. Planned API sync will connect with a read-only key so new trades can appear on a schedule; it is rolling out per our pricing page. Both paths will land in the same journal and analytics views.
Can I track more than one broker or account?
Yes. Create separate accounts inside Tradapt for different brokers, prop evaluations, or personal vs IRA buckets. Import each CSV into the matching account so reporting stays clean and comparable.
My broker is not in the directory — can I still use Tradapt?
Yes. Manual trade entry is always available, and many generic CSV layouts still import successfully. If you share a sample export, we can often add a tailored mapper — use the contact page and attach a redacted file.
How often should I export from my broker?
Weekly or monthly exports work well for most swing traders; active day traders may prefer daily or end-of-session exports. The best cadence is the one you will actually keep up with, because consistent imports make dashboards and Tradapt Score trends meaningful.
