The free plan is genuinely useful — it's not intentionally limited to force upgrades. Many traders stay on the free plan successfully.
Essential Plan — Best for:
- Active traders who want full analytics and custom reports
- Prop firm traders who need screenshots and richer journaling
- Anyone who needs more AI capacity than Free allows
- Traders who use backtesting or trade replay
Pro Plan — Best for:
- Traders juggling many accounts or unlimited playbooks
- Heavy Coach users who want the highest weekly and session limits
- Anyone who wants side-by-side account comparison
- People who like proactive AI nudges while navigating the app
Annual vs. Monthly Billing
Annual billing saves approximately 17% (2 months free):
- Essential: £19.99/month → £16.66/month on annual (£199.92 vs £239.88 annually)
- Pro: £29.99/month → £24.99/month on annual (£299.88 vs £359.88 annually)
Annual billing is recommended if you've used Tradapt for 30+ days and are confident it fits your workflow.
Upgrading
You can upgrade at any time from Settings > Billing. The new plan's features activate immediately. Billing is prorated for the current billing period.
Downgrading
Downgrading is available at the end of your current billing period. Features from the higher plan remain active until the period ends. Contact support if you have specific timing questions.
