Connect Binance to Tradapt

Binance is the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. Broker API auto-sync is coming soon on Essential and Pro (see pricing). When it is live, Tradapt will use a read-only API key to import spot and USDT-margined futures fills. Until then, journal with a Binance CSV export — see the Binance broker import guide.

Broker API auto-sync is not live yet. It is coming soon on Essential and Pro (same rollout as pricing). Use CSV import for Binance trades today. The steps below are for when sync is enabled.

Create a read-only API key on Binance

Log in to Binance at binance.com

Click your profile icon in the top right, then select API Management

Click Create API, choose System Generated, and give the key a name (e.g. 'Tradapt')

Complete the security verification (email + authenticator code)

On the API key settings page, ensure Enable Reading is checked — do NOT enable trading or withdrawals

If you trade futures, make sure Enable Futures is also checked under permissions

Copy both the API Key and the Secret Key — the secret is only shown once

Open Binance API settings

Tradapt only requests read-only API permissions. Your key cannot place orders, withdraw funds, or access personal data. All credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and are never shared with third parties.

Connect in Tradapt

Log in to your Tradapt account

Go to Settings in the left sidebar, then click the Integrations tab

Find Binance in the exchange list and click Connect

Paste your API Key and API Secret into the form

Optionally select which Tradapt account to link the imported trades to

Click Connect — when API sync is live, Tradapt will validate your key and import your trade history (use CSV import today)

Frequently asked questions

Can Tradapt place trades or withdraw funds on my Binance account?

No. Tradapt only uses read permissions. The API key cannot place orders, withdraw, or modify your account in any way. Always create a read-only key.

Does Tradapt import both spot and futures trades?

When API sync is live, Tradapt will fetch both spot (myTrades) and USDT-M futures (userTrades) history using the API key. Both will update on each sync. Use CSV import until then.
