Data Privacy and Security at Tradapt

How Tradapt protects your trading data, what we collect, and how your data is used by AI features.

Your Data Is Private


Tradapt does not share your trading data with third parties. Your trade history, journal entries, and performance metrics are private to your account.


What Data Tradapt Collects


Trade data: Entry and exit prices, dates, symbols, P&L, and all fields you enter manually or via import.


Journal data: Notes, emotional state ratings, tags, and screenshots you attach to trades.


Behavioral patterns: Derived patterns (revenge trading rate, FOMO frequency, etc.) generated from your trade data.


Usage data: Standard application analytics (page views, feature usage) for product improvement purposes.


How AI Uses Your Data


Tradapt's AI features analyze your trade history and journal data to:

  • Detect behavioral patterns
  • Generate weekly performance reviews
  • Provide setup-specific recommendations

This analysis is performed within Tradapt's infrastructure. Your data is not sent to third-party AI providers without encryption and data agreements.


No personally identifiable trading data is used to train shared AI models. Your data belongs to you.


Data Storage


All data is stored on secure, encrypted servers with:

  • Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Regular automated backups
  • Access controls limited to essential personnel

Deleting Your Data


You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be recovered.


For data export before deletion: go to Settings > Export Data to download your full trade history and journal entries as a CSV.
